AUGMENTED CONCERTS

GENERATION HARMONIQUE offers concerts that connect music and visual arts. They can also include connections with literature, theater, dance, gastronomy, or the discovery of musical instruments. This multisensory approach makes 18th-century music accessible to a wider audience and allows for the creation of innovative combinations.

SIGHT & HEARING

A pictorial pairing is proposed for each concert, thus associating sight with hearing . Each musical work is linked to one or more paintings establishing an aesthetic and temporal correspondence (projection depending on the possibilities of the venues) .

A pre-concert talk helps to explain these relationships and thus enter into the world of painters and composers.

TASTE, SMELL & HEARING

Music and food have always been linked, as evidenced by the rich iconography of the 17th and 18th centuries. Reconnecting with this fruitful dialogue, we offer musical programs paired with wines and other culinary pairings. The tasting takes place to the sound of music.

A pre-concert event is offered focusing on the pairing of music and wine, showcasing the local grape varieties and their organoleptic characteristics.

TOUCH & HEARING

The sense of touch is offered in two variations: a show around dance which explores the link between dance and music; a concert where each instrument is "touched" (toccare in Italian) in a specific highlighting.

The pre-concert period is then dedicated to a presentation of the dances, or, for the second option, a session on organology.
